Editorial Team
InfoBrazil.org is produced by the InfoBrazil Editorial Team — a small group of writers, fact-checkers and editors working under a shared editorial standard. Every article is published under the team byline rather than a single author. Article-level corrections and content suggestions can be sent to contact@infobrazil.org and we update affected pages within 7 days.
How Our Content Is Made
We are transparent about our process. Content on InfoBrazil.org is researched by our editorial team using AI-assisted drafting with human editorial review. Drafts are generated with the help of large language models, then verified against official sources, current pricing data and traveller reports before publication. Every article is reviewed and edited by a human before it goes live, and we routinely update existing pages as visa rules, prices and conditions change.
What this means for you:
- Facts are verified against gov.br, VFS Global, official tourism boards and live data sources before publication.
- Prices are current at the date shown at the top of each article — but they change often, so always confirm with the provider before you book.
- We re-check our highest-traffic pages quarterly and refresh the "Updated" date when we do.
- If you spot something wrong, please email us — we genuinely want to fix it.
The InfoPlaces Network
InfoBrazil.org is part of the InfoPlaces network — a growing family of independent, English-language country guides published under a shared editorial standard. Each site covers one country in depth: InfoBrazil for Brazil, with sister sites in development for other major destinations. The network is independently owned and operated; sites do not exchange editorial favours, and recommendations are made site-by-site based on what genuinely serves the reader.
How We Make Money
We are funded through affiliate marketing commissions and occasional sponsored content. We are completely transparent about this — see our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews. Products that do not earn us a commission still appear in our recommendations when they are the genuine best choice; products that pay higher commissions do not get preferential placement.
